In Home ABA Support
Our In-Home Support services are designed to meet children and families where learning happens most naturally—at home. By working within a child’s everyday environment, we focus on building meaningful skills that support independence, communication, emotional regulation, and daily routines in real-life contexts.
Services are individualized and guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with direct support provided by trained Behavior Specialists. Sessions are respectful, assent-based, and relationship-focused, emphasizing naturalistic teaching rather than rigid or compliance-driven methods.
We actively involve caregivers throughout the process through modeling, coaching, and collaboration. Families are supported in understanding strategies, building confidence, and carrying skills into daily life—ensuring progress extends beyond therapy sessions.
In-home support may focus on:
Communication and social skills
Emotional regulation and coping skills
Daily living and self-help skills
Routines, transitions, and flexibility
Family-identified goals that improve quality of life
In-home services are not about changing who a child is—they’re about supporting growth in ways that feel safe, meaningful, and sustainable for the whole family.
Community Based ABA
Our Community-Based ABA services support individuals in developing meaningful skills within real-life community settings. By working in natural environments—such as parks, stores, libraries, and other community spaces—we help clients practice skills that promote independence, confidence, and participation in everyday life.
Services are individualized, assent-based, and guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our clinicians focus on functional communication, social navigation, self-advocacy, and emotional regulation using naturalistic teaching strategies rather than compliance-driven approaches.
Families are active partners in the process. We collaborate with caregivers to ensure goals reflect the client’s needs, preferences, and values, and that strategies are practical and transferable beyond therapy sessions.
Community-based ABA may focus on:
Social interaction and peer engagement
Communication and self-advocacy
Coping skills and emotional regulation in public settings
Independence with routines (shopping, waiting, transitions)
Safety awareness and community participation
Community-based services are designed to empower individuals to engage with their world in ways that feel respectful, supportive, and meaningful—because true progress happens where life actually takes place.
In-School Support
Our In-School Support services are designed to help students access learning in a way that is respectful, supportive, and aligned with their individual needs. We collaborate with families and school teams to support meaningful participation in the classroom while honoring each student’s strengths, autonomy, and learning style.
Services are individualized and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with support delivered by trained Behavior Specialists. Our approach is assent-based and relationship-focused, emphasizing skill development within natural classroom routines rather than compliance-driven interventions.
We work collaboratively with educators to ensure strategies are practical, minimally disruptive, and consistent with school expectations. The goal is to support independence and confidence—so students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally within the school environment.
In-school support may focus on:
Classroom participation and engagement
Communication and self-advocacy
Emotional regulation and coping skills
Transitions, routines, and flexibility
Peer interaction and social navigation
In-school support is not about control or constant prompting—it’s about empowering students with the skills and supports they need to succeed in school and beyond.
Parent Coaching & Collaboration
Our Parent Coaching & Collaboration services are designed to empower caregivers with the tools, confidence, and support needed to help their child thrive in everyday life. We believe parents and caregivers are essential members of the treatment team, and meaningful progress happens when strategies are practical, respectful, and aligned with family values.
Coaching is provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through collaborative discussions, modeling, and real-time feedback. Rather than prescribing rigid techniques, we focus on building understanding, problem-solving skills, and flexible strategies that fit naturally into daily routines.
This service emphasizes partnership over instruction. Caregivers are supported in understanding their child’s behavior, strengthening communication, promoting emotional regulation, and fostering independence—without relying on compliance-based approaches.
Parent coaching may include:
Understanding behavior through a compassionate, strengths-based lens
Supporting communication and self-advocacy
Navigating routines, transitions, and challenging moments
Building consistency across home, school, and community
Collaborating on goals that improve family quality of life
Parent coaching is about collaboration—not correction—so families feel supported, informed, and confident long after sessions end.
Life Skills
Our Life Skills services focus on building practical, meaningful skills that support independence, confidence, and participation in everyday life. Goals are individualized and rooted in what matters most to the client and their family—not a standardized checklist of expectations.
Life skills instruction is guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and delivered using naturalistic, respectful teaching strategies. We prioritize choice, autonomy, and real-world relevance, teaching skills within the contexts where they naturally occur.
Caregivers are active collaborators in identifying priorities and supporting skill generalization across home, school, and community environments. The focus is on progress that enhances quality of life—not perfection or compliance.
Life skills may include support with:
Daily living skills (self-care, hygiene, routines)
Executive functioning (organization, planning, flexibility)
Emotional regulation and coping strategies
Communication and self-advocacy
Community participation and independence
Life skills services are about empowering individuals with tools they can use throughout their lives—supporting growth that is meaningful, sustainable, and respectful of who they are.
Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)
A Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) is a collaborative process used to understand why behaviors occur—not to label or pathologize a child, but to better support their needs. At ABA Your Way, FBAs are conducted with respect, transparency, and a focus on strengths, context, and quality of life.
Assessments are completed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) using multiple sources of information, including caregiver interviews, observations across environments, and review of routines and developmental history. We prioritize understanding environmental factors, communication needs, and unmet skills rather than isolating behaviors in artificial settings.
Our FBAs move away from punitive or compliance-driven interpretations. Instead, findings are used to develop supportive, skill-based recommendations that honor autonomy and promote meaningful alternatives.
An FBA may inform:
Understanding the function of behavior
Identifying skill gaps and support needs
Developing respectful, individualized treatment goals
Creating proactive strategies that reduce stress and increase success
Aligning interventions with family values and daily life
Functional Behavior Assessments are the foundation for ethical, effective care—ensuring that services are responsive, compassionate, and truly individualized.
School Readiness
Our School Readiness services are designed to support children in developing the foundational skills needed to participate in school in ways that feel safe, confident, and meaningful. Rather than focusing on rigid academic performance, we prioritize skills that help children engage with learning, routines, and social environments at their own pace.
Services are individualized and guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), using play-based, naturalistic, and assent-based approaches. We emphasize emotional regulation, communication, independence, and flexibility—skills that support long-term success in school settings.
Families are active partners in identifying goals and supporting consistency across home and school environments. Our focus is on readiness that reflects the child’s developmental needs, strengths, and comfort—not forcing milestones before they are appropriate.
School readiness may include:
Following routines and transitions
Attending to group activities and instruction
Functional communication and requesting support
Emotional regulation and coping skills
Early social engagement and peer awareness
Independence with basic classroom expectations
School readiness is about helping children feel capable and supported as they enter learning environments—building confidence first, skills second, and progress that lasts.
Early Intervention Services
Our Early Intervention Services support young children during critical developmental years by focusing on connection, communication, and foundational skills that promote long-term growth. We believe early support should be gentle, play-based, and responsive—never rigid or compliance-driven.
Services are individualized and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), using naturalistic, assent-based approaches that honor each child’s pace, interests, and emerging skills. Intervention is embedded within play, routines, and everyday interactions to create meaningful learning opportunities.
Families are central to the process. We collaborate closely with caregivers to identify priorities, model strategies, and build confidence in supporting development throughout daily life. The goal is to strengthen relationships while fostering skills that support communication, regulation, and engagement.
Early intervention may focus on:
Early communication and language development
Social engagement and joint attention
Play and learning readiness
Emotional regulation and coping skills
Daily routines and independence
Caregiver coaching and collaboration
Early intervention is about supporting development with respect, patience, and care—laying a strong foundation for future learning while honoring who each child is.
