ABA Your Way provides individualized ABA therapy throughout Riverside County. We support children and families in Riverside, Moreno Valley, Corona, Perris, Jurupa Valley, Eastvale, Norco, Menifee, Hemet, Murrieta and Temecula.

Services can take place in your child’s home, at school, in everyday community settings, or at our Riverside center. The center serves children of all ages and is home to ABA Another Way | Early Learning, a structured half day and full day program built specifically for young children.

We also offer telehealth when it is clinically appropriate and covered by your plan. Our bilingual and Spanish speaking team helps families understand the process, take part in treatment, and talk comfortably with their child’s care team.

OUR TEAM

Who You Will Be Working With

ABA Your Way is a California ABA provider serving children and families across Riverside County and other Southern California communities. Our team includes behavior specialists, parent educators, mid level supervisors and Board Certified Behavior Analysts. We have bilingual and Spanish speaking providers who can talk directly with families.

Choosing an ABA provider is a big decision. Families deserve to know who will work with their child, what therapy will actually look like, and how the recommended services connect to their child’s needs and their own priorities.

We start by learning about the child as a whole person: how they communicate, what interests them, their strengths, sensory needs, routines and preferences, along with the areas where the family is asking for support. From there we build an individualized treatment plan and walk the family through each step of the authorization and service process.

Families can receive services in their natural environment or at our Riverside center, which provides individualized treatment spaces and room to practice communication, play, social interaction, school readiness, daily living and community skills.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Assent Based, Trauma Informed ABA

ABA Your Way practices a reform minded, assent based and trauma informed approach to ABA therapy.

Assent means paying attention to how a child communicates willingness, comfort, hesitation and distress, including when they do not use spoken words. We do not believe therapy should be built around forcing a child to appear compliant.

Our approach is hands off. We do not use physical prompting to move a child’s body through a task. We do not require forced eye contact, ignore signs of distress, or teach children that they must continue an activity regardless of how they feel. We do not use escape extinction, overcorrection, response cost, time out or seclusion.

Instead we focus on building trust, creating real motivation, and teaching skills in ways that respect the child’s autonomy. When a child is struggling, we look at what the behavior may be communicating and what needs to change in the environment, the activity, or how we are teaching.

Learning happens inside everyday routines and activities the child enjoys, rather than only in repetitive drills at a table. A child might practice communication during play, flexibility during a familiar routine, safety skills in the community, or independence while getting ready for school.

At our Riverside center, children practice these skills in spaces designed around real life activities. Therapy stays individualized, and participation follows each child’s treatment plan rather than a fixed curriculum.

Parents and caregivers are part of the team. Your concerns, observations and priorities guide treatment throughout.

THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENTS

Support Where Life Happens

In home ABA therapy

In home therapy lets the team work on skills in the place where daily routines already happen. Sessions may cover communication, play, transitions, self care, family routines, safety and independence. Caregivers can watch strategies in practice and learn to use them between sessions.

Center based ABA therapy

Our Riverside center serves children of all ages. It offers a welcoming, structured setting for individualized ABA therapy, peer interaction, social skills development, school readiness and daily living practice. Schedules follow each child’s clinical needs, insurance authorization and treatment plan.

ABA Another Way | Early Learning

Our center based early childhood program, with half day or full day schedules when clinically appropriate and authorized. It combines individualized ABA treatment with play, communication, peer interaction, group routines and school readiness. This is a medical ABA program, not a daycare or a traditional preschool. See the Early Learning center page.

In school support

When school based services are authorized and permitted by the school, our staff can support classroom participation, functional communication, transitions, independence and safe access to the learning environment. We work within the limits of the child’s authorization and the school’s requirements.

Community based therapy

Community sessions let children practice meaningful skills in real situations. Depending on the treatment plan that might mean walking safely through a store, waiting, communicating a need, joining an activity, or handling a change in a familiar routine.

Telehealth

Telehealth may be used for caregiver education, clinical supervision and other appropriate services when the payer allows it. It makes it easier for caregivers to take part, and lets the team observe and talk through routines as they happen at home.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

Plans We Work With

ABA Your Way works with families covered by IEHP, Medi-Cal, Molina, Aetna, Blue Shield of California, Cigna and Magellan Healthcare, along with most commercial insurance plans. Coverage depends on your specific plan, eligibility, service area, medical necessity criteria and authorization requirements.

You do not need to understand the insurance process before contacting us. Our administrative team verifies benefits, reviews what your plan says, and helps coordinate authorization. We will tell you which documents are needed and whether your insurer requires a referral, a diagnostic report or other records.

Coverage for in home, school, community, telehealth and center based services can differ. Taking part in the half day or full day early childhood program also depends on clinical recommendations and insurance authorization.

The health plan decides approval and the number of authorized hours. We cannot guarantee coverage, but we will make sure you understand what your insurer has told us before services begin.

GETTING STARTED

How Quickly Can Services Begin?

Once we have your referral and authorization from the insurance company, the assigned provider calls you within 24 to 48 hours to schedule the assessment. Assessments usually begin within 10 days to two weeks, depending on your availability and provider scheduling.

After the assessment we submit treatment recommendations to your insurer for approval. Once treatment is authorized, we match your child with the right provider and schedule services at home, at school, in the community or at our Riverside center.
